Implementation details

On receiving a black mark, the student may obtain an application form for waiving a black mark from Mr. Sing.

  1. On receiving a black mark, the student may download and print out an application form for waiving a black mark from eClass (inside eNotice > Student-signed Notice).
  2. After completing Section A on the application form, the student must seek recommendation from the form-teacher. The recommendation is based on the student's past behaviour and sincerity. If the form-teacher recommends the student to apply, he/she has to complete Section B for the student. The date in Section B is taken as the starting date of the application. This date must not exceed 3 school days from the date when the black mark is given; otherwise, the application is considered void. Then the student should submit the application form to Mr. Sing in person.
  3. On approval, the student's black mark will be waived at the end of the term and the form-teacher will be informed.
  4. Deadline for application: the first examination day
